Black Canyon Inn, located in Estes Park, Colorado, had some very specific goals for their project. They desired the use of the color pink and the well recognized Colorado state flower—the Columbine. Their previous design incorporated a mountain theme, and they also wanted that theme to resonate throughout their website. By positioning the Columbine at the bottom right corner and adding a hummingbird that incorporated the same shade of pink to the content headers I was able to create a complete and coordinated design complemented the pink borders and boxes. For the finishing touch I made a marble background to incorporate some of the textures you'll find inside their rooms. This website, with all of its detail, was a big hit with the owners of the inn.

The Mauian Inn recently underwent renovations to become contemporary accommodations with classic beach style. The owners wanted their website to have a Hawaiian themed design. After some research, I learned that there are different themes found on the different Hawaiian Islands, and that Maui had a specific look and feel to it that included bamboo. I used what I learned and incorporated those details into the website by designing the thatch background pattern and emphasizing the bamboo in a contemporary feeling look. Hats off to the photographer; who did an incredible job capturing the scenery. This website is converting at a high rate and the clients couldn't be any happier.
